Ingredients (per person)
1 pear, peeled, cored and sliced*
1 cup pumpkin pie filling (not plain pumpkin)
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
Cover pears with pumpkin pie filling and put in greased baking dish. Heat until pumpkin has caramelized and changed from bright orange to brown, approximately 15-20 minutes.
Top with roasted pecans and whipped cream if desired.
*You can also use drained canned pears. Fresh pears will be crunchier than canned in this recipe. Choose based on your preference.
